Pleasant stay in total.
Staff and room, complementary stuff (like skin care products, hair cap, etc.)
The carpet is really dirty. The hotel may need more powerful hoovers. Also the location is a little bit far away from Sendai Train Station if you have large luggages and you want to walk to the hotel. The air-con needs to be set at a very low temperature to cool down the room.

Staff helped me send a large parcel and worked with me to understand the circumstances and agreed to talk to the DHL driver when we were out sightseeing. I highly appreciated that gesture!

Good
Room was good, the little desk and table were quite comfortable for what you can put inside a small hotel room.
I think it is cultural difference that for Japanese wearing masks is somehow protecting the customer (even though we mingled with thousands of people in train stations so it made a 0,01% of a difference) but it freaked me out in this place. Staff seemed very isolated and foreboding with their hidden faces even though what they said implied polite half smile under the mask.

Near the main action of the city but quiet enough at night
The property is only about 5-10 min walk away from the main Sendai Station that has all of Sendai's metro, trains and the Shinkansen converging. Another bonus is that the property is just behind Sendai's famous morning market that operates late into the afternoon. Also, at the lobby lift area, are 2 racks of amenities for hotel guests, free instant coffee, tea bags, moisturizing lotion, shaving cream, and more ...
The surrounding buildings all look pretty similar, For the 2 days I was there, I always ended up on the opposite side of the street, but nothing too worrying, always look across the street for me.
